Love Luton Run Fest 2026 · 11 October 2026 ·

The OLLIE Foundation helps to prevent suicide, with a particular focus on young people, by empowering individuals and communities with the skills, confidence and understanding needed to be able to recognise distress and provide effective support to those in need because…One Life Lost Is Enough.

Story

I'm Sophie and I'm a keen runner from St Albans!

I'm fundraising for The OLLIE Foundation because I believe Its vital that these resources exist to support young people and that adults can be empowered to recognise the signs of mental distress. I hope by running the Luton half marathon I can raise the funds which the charity can then use to support more people.

You may be wondering what The OLLIE Foundation is....

Founded by three parents who tragically each lost a son to suicide, The OLLIE Foundation strengthens communities by building the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to recognise distress, have safe conversations to prevent suicide.

Any contribution is appreciated.
