Story
Our two children, Shannon and Rhiley are taking part in the London Mini Marathon this Saturday, and I couldn’t be prouder.
They’re running in support of Siblings Together, a UK charity that helps brothers and sisters stay connected when they’ve been separated through care or adoption.
This cause is incredibly close to our hearts. As an adoptive family, we understand just how important those sibling bonds are, and how much love, comfort, and identity they carry.
For many children, being separated from their siblings is one of the hardest parts of their journey. Siblings Together creates opportunities for them to reconnect through camps, activity days, and shared experiences that bring joy, support, and a sense of belonging.
This isn’t just a run.
It’s for connection.
It’s for love.
It’s for every child who deserves to stay connected to their family.
If you’d like to support or learn more, it would mean so much 🤍
