Hi All,

As many of you know, sadly we recently lost both of our Grandparents - Les and Sylvia.

It was in Nan's final weeks where we came across the Sue Ryder Charity and the frankly astonishing ‘end of life care’ that they provide.

Whilst we lost Grandad very suddenly, fortunately Nan was able to pass away peacefully at home surrounded by family. This was only made possible with support from some very caring doctors and nurses, both locally and from the Sue Ryder charity, and between them, they helped make what is a fairly unimaginable process a calm and peaceful one for all involved.

It is not lost on us that sadly this process is often very different for elderly people in the final stages of their lives so we will both be running this year’s London Marathon in support of Sue Ryder and the great work they do.

We will both be at 'Ye Grapes' in Shepherd's Market post the race, so for those planning a day out please join us for a few drinks to remember two of the best - we would love to say thank you in person.
