After deciding to take on the challenge of the Great North Run, both Sophie and Jordan entered the ballot. Much to Jordan’s disappointment, he got in……and Sophie didn’t…….!

Any one who knows Sophie and Jordan will know that there is only one runner amongst the pair of them! However, after a number of training sessions, a few long runs and only one cross word, there are now two runners that are ready to head up north.

Sophie was fortunate enough to be awarded a place to run for Dreams Come True, a national charity with a mission to enrich the lives of children with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting condition by making their dreams come true.

It is the only UK wish granting charity that supports children living in the highest areas of deprivation.

Whether it’s a specially adapted trike for a child with cerebral palsy or a tablet to help an autistic teenager develop their communication skills, each dream brings moments of magic and has a lasting impact for years to come.
