On January 8th 2026, Liberty Leasing are participating in The Simply Cup alongside the asset finance industry — battling it out on the pitch while raising money for charity.

This year, Liberty will have Sophie's Legacy on our kits, our newly voted Charity of the Year for 2026. This local Fareham-based charity was founded in memory of Sophie Fairall, who was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, at just nine years old and tragically passed away a year later.

Her legacy lives on through the charity, which is dedicated to improving the hospital experience for children and their families, from ensuring parents are fed, improving quality of food for children, increasing support for Play Specialists, improving training for healthcare professionals on recognising signs and symptoms of Childhood cancer, and increasing funding and research into Childhood cancer.
