Story
In August 2023, my Mum Jo Kirk passed away aged 51. Just 9 months earlier she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma- an extremely aggressive form of stage 4 Brain cancer. Blythe House Hospice helped advocate for Mum and helped her maintain as much independence as possible- which was the most important thing for her. Along with ensuring Mum, myself and family were well supported throughout.
To say thank you and to give back, in March 2026 I will be trekking through the Sahara Desert in aid of Blythe House Hospice. On the run up to this I have different events planned.
In June I completed a 75km walk in under 18 hours.
In October I did the Yorkshire Three Peaks in under 11 hours
In November I will be donating 12 inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust.
Blythe House will always be a special place for us, like it was for Mum. A little community of professionals and volunteers who will always be there to hold out their hands and help you.
Although I may be doing the challenge, I need your help. This charity runs on donations and couldn’t provide their amazing services without them. I’m asking if you could spare as much or as little as you can to ensure other families receive the incredible support that we did.
Thank you for visiting my page and for the ongoing support 💙
