Story
This year has been one of huge personal discovery for me. I was recently diagnosed with Autism, and while that’s come with a lot of reflection, it’s also helped me understand myself in ways I never could before.
One of the biggest constants through all of it has been rugby, and more specifically, Sheffield Eagles. This club has been a lifeline. It’s given me structure, belonging, purpose, and the confidence to be myself.
So I’ve decided to take on a big challenge: I’m running a marathon this October, and I’m doing it to raise funds for the Sheffield Eagles.
Every mile I run is a thank you to the people who’ve supported me and every donation helps keep this club going strong for others like me who find a home in sport.
If you can spare a donation, however small, I’d be incredibly grateful. And if not, a share means just as much.
