I'm taking part in #TransRightsReadathon from March 22nd to March 29th this year, an annual event run by readers to support the trans community in the run up to Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st 🏳️‍⚧️

I'm aiming to read 7 books with trans represenation and/or by trans authors, and will be raising money for Mermaids. Mermaids is a UK charity working to support transgender, non-binary and gender diverse children, young people and their families. Mermaids' vision is a safe, inclusive society where trans children and young people are empowered to live their best lives.

If you're able to financially support, please donate. If you want to make it more fun, you can also make a pledge to donate £X for every book I complete during this time.I'm pledging to donate £10 for every book I complete in the time period, and will be making my donation on Friday, March 29.

If you can't support financially, you can still get involved by sharing this fundraiser to your socials, joining the challenge yourself and reading some books with trans rep and/or by trans authors, or writing to your local MP or representative asking them to support trans rights.
