We are a Children's Charity who raise money to improve the lives of local children

Story

Alyce (my beautiful daughter), 15 years old, is currently fighting Classic Hodgkins Lymphoma, and is undergoing Chemotherapy treatment to rid her of this awful disease.

This fundraiser is to raise as much money as possible to help the ward (Emily Kent Unit) where she is undergoing treatment. It is only a very small ward with four beds, situated in the childrens centre of the Hospital. They rely on donations to provide the kids with entertainment, school lessons, TVs, gifts and pretty much anything you can think of. As well as relying on food donations to provide for families that have to stay on the ward for prolonged periods.

Any money raised will go toward buying these types of things so that families that come after us will recieve the same levels of care that Alyce and my family have recieved.

I call on the power of YouTube to see how much we can raise to ensure children with Cancer recieve the best treatment and care possible during this awful time in their lives!

The Pied Piper Appeal was founded in 1992 by local hairdresser Peter Hickman and £4 million was pledged to build a new Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. The money was quickly raised with the centre opening in 2004.

Since then, The Pied Piper Appeal have continued to fund the Children's Centre along with supporting SEND Schools with equipment and resources, Sending children with life-limiting illnesses and their families on memory making Wish Holidays, and improving children's experience with Mental Health facilities.
