Source to Sea 2024 · 20 June 2024

LandAid is the property industry charity, working to end youth homelessness in the UK. We bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.

Story

**We have 10 teams taking part in our Source to Sea 2024 Race**

What is Source to Sea 2024?

A non-stop team relay race along the full length of the Thames Path. The idea was generated in a pub back in 2015, and since then it has been attempted (and completed!) three times.

How far is it?

The Thames Path is 295km long and follows the route of the River Thames from its source near Cirencester to the Sea (Thames Barrier). The route takes you across almost the full width of England, through some of the most beautiful countryside and almost entirely on footpaths and away from roads. Because of running two runners overnight for safety, the total distance for each team to run is approximately 350km.

Why do it?

Source to Sea 2024 is a truly unique physical, mental, and logistical challenge. Beyond testing your physical and mental fitness, it also serves as a high profile and fun way to raise money for worthwhile charities, with the most recent edition raising £34,000 in total.

Who are we raising funds for?

Our chosen is LandAid - the property industry's charity who are on a mission to end youth homelessness. Last year, almost 136,000 young people in the UK approached their local council for housing support. Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever.

LandAid bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young homeless people.

Your donation will help ensure that young people facing homelessness have a safe, secure and positive future.
