Story
I will be taking up the South Coast 100km Ultra Challenge with my friends, Karol and Zbyszek. 🏃♂️🌍
On 6th September 2025, we will start from Eastbourne, pass over the stunning Seven Sisters, traverse the South Downs, and finish in historic Arundel. This continuous, gruelling 100km route includes a total elevation gain of around 2,100m, making it a truly challenging physical and mental test.
🏃🏻♀️➡️ Why am I taking on this challenge? 🏃🏻♀️➡️
You might know that I am passionate about climate advocacy and community resilience, also someone that loves pushing myself out of the comfort zone.
Since the summer of 2024, I’ve been a dedicated volunteer at the Islington Climate Centre (ICC), a vibrant, community-led charity that works to inform, engage, and connect local communities through education, workshops, and events focused on climate action.
Some of the recent projects I’ve been involved in at the ICC include:
- Organizing the People’s Assembly on Retrofit
- Leading Construction Collage workshops
- Managing a fantastic team of Communications volunteers as the Communications Lead.
We’ve got great plans to expand our work and reach even wider networks, and any additional funding or donations would go a long way in helping us achieve this goal. 💚
