Claudie, Paola and Lucy’s Fundraiser for Advance

Claudie Fleming is raising money for Advance

South Downs 100k in 24 hours · 18 July 2026

We deliver systems change and empower women and children who experience domestic abuse, including those in contact with the criminal justice system, to lead safe, just and equal lives.

Story

On 18th July 2026, we are walking 100 kilometres along the South Downs for the charity Claudie works for called Advance, aiming to do this in 24 hours. Claudie is a front line Key Worker for the Minerva Wraparound Project - a service supporting women who have been in touch with the criminal justice system.

Women in contact with the criminal justice system often experience multiple challenges at once, such as housing, their physical and mental wellbeing, and caring responsibilities, all of which are exacerbated by prison. Many women have experienced domestic abuse, therefore we use a trauma informed approach to work towards rehabilitation.

The service supports women across London and 6 regions through keyworker support, group-work, mentoring, and other specialist support.

The money raised from this walk will go towards the Minerva hardship fund. This fund provides immediate financial assistance for those experiencing challenges. It also provides more support for those leaving prison with quicker access to essentials, for example mobile phones.

We are challenging ourselves to walk 100 kilometres across the South Downs in 24 hours.

Any donation is appreciated and goes a long way. Thank you for supporting women and giving them a better chance in their future.
