National Three Peaks Challenge · 4 October 2024

Turning Tides is partnering with Global Adventure Challenges, taking on the Three Peaks Challenge and climbing the highest mountains in the UK – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon!

Story

Turning Tides is one of the largest providers of homelessness services to single adults in West Sussex. Last year, the charity supported around 1000 people who were experiencing homelessness or living in insecure housing.

Just think - for every person you see rough sleeping there are probably another 20 'hidden homeless': people who are sleeping in their cars or vans, sofa-surfing, or living in a tent on the edge of fields or woodland not far from where you live.

So I'm taking part in one of the charity's big fundraisers this autumn. Starting at 6am on Friday, 4th October I'll be nipping up* Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Mount Snowden - which will take until around lunchtime on Saturday, 5th.

If you could cheer me on my way by making a donation, I'd be very grateful.
