Story
Space's Friday Youth Club provides a safe space for young community members to hang out with friends and enjoy fun activities—free of charge.
Youth groups play an important part in making sure children have a 'third place' outside of school and home to interact with others and identify themselves as part of the wider community.
This Christmas, with the cost of living crisis heavily impacting the most vulnerable members of our community, we’d like to give local children have the gift of a sweet treat.
Space supports 50 young people aged eight to 16, who—with your £3 donation—can receive a selection box to snack on through the festive season.
About Friday Youth Club: Our youth work provision is driven by the young people themselves—ensuring they get their say in decision-making and a 'seat at the table' to shape their own experience with the service. We strive to deliver a welcoming, inclusive environment for all young people to help them alleviate stress from the school day and enjoy time with their peers in a non-competitive setting.
