Story

Solidarity under the Stars - Paul and Nigel Brave the Cold for a Cause

Paul Bray (pictured left, CEO) and Nigel Whelan (pictured right, COO) of Spaldings on Sadler Road, Lincoln, an agricultural and groundcare supplier, are preparing to brave the elements for a good cause.

The two Directors are now being joined by nine other members of the Spaldings team and will bed down under the stars as part of the YMCA Sleep Easy 2025 campaign, to be held on Friday 7th March.

Other volunteers will also be taking part in the event, to be held outside Lincoln Cathedral.

Spaldings already supply the boxes for the initiative, but this year the Directors and staff are going the extra mile and taking part.

Nigel commented "We have supported YMCA Lincolnshire as our Charity of the Year over 2024, and we wanted to continue helping out where we can, as the charity is such a fantastic support to so many. If one night spent under the stars can help - then it is the least we can do."

A huge thank you to all those that have sponsored the Spaldings team - it is greatly appreciated.
