Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The team at Specsavers Ebbw Vale care deeply about the nation’s eye health, and we love to give back - this January, we’re taking on the challenge of climbing the highest peak in South Wales, Pen y Fan in order to raise money for Sight Cymru.

Sight Cymru (formerly Sight Support) is a South Wales-based charity which offers services to enhance the lives of sight-impaired individuals in South Wales. They offer transcription services into audio files and braille, help with technological alternatives to traditional written media and advocate for welfare and benefit provision. Sight Cymru also allows its members access to a support network including Rehabilitation Officers and Eye Clinic Liaison Officers, whose role is to support those who are newly diagnosed with sight loss.

We hope you check out their website (sightcymru.org.uk) and consider donating to this amazing cause!
