Thames Path Ultra Challenge 28km

In Memory of a Dear Colleague ❤️

This challenge means so much more to us than simply crossing the finish line. As the Specsavers London South West team, we’re taking on the Thames Path Ultra Challenge to raise money for The Royal Marsden, in memory of a dear colleague who touched the lives of so many of us.

Cancer is something that has affected every one of us in some way, whether through our own experiences, a family member, a friend, a colleague, or someone else we hold close to our hearts. Many of us have sadly watched people we love face this devastating illness, and we carry their stories and memories with us too.

That’s why this challenge is especially close to our hearts. Every step we take will be in memory of our dear colleague and in honour of all those close to us who have been affected by cancer, those we have lost, those still fighting, and those who have supported loved ones through their journey.

We’ll be taking on these 28km with them all in our thoughts, while raising money to support the incredible work of The Royal Marsden and the difference they make for so many people and their families.
