I'm proud to say, as a member of the 10th Royal Eltham Scout Group, I will be attending the World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk, Poland, alongside 40,000 other young Scouts and Explorers from across the globe!

It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I have been dreaming of attending since I first stepped foot into the scouting family. I was proud to be selected after attending a selection camp with 250 other Scouts from the South London county, where only 36 skilled Scouts were selected to take part in this memorable journey.

The World Scout Jamboree brings together young people from across the world to build friendships, learn lifelong skills, experience different cultures and much more. Throughout this journey, with your help, I will make many lifelong friends, create many memories and most importantly, reach that final goal of my funding.

To take part in this incredible journey, I need to raise £3740, which covers my travel and accommodation, activities and cultural experiences, training and preparation camps, and uniform and kit.

Over the next 18 months, I'll be working hard through fundraising events, challenges, and local community activities to reach this goal. Any donation, big or small, means the world to me and will make a huge difference, bringing me one step closer to representing my county and scout group on the world stage.
