Friday the 18th of October 2024 I will be 60 years old. I’m using this an excuse to host a music concert at The Blue Lamp in Aberdeen.
A selection of my lovely pals who are musicians from near and far will be attending. Doors will open at 7.00pm, and music will commence by 7.30pm.
The first half of the evening will feature “quieter” acoustic acts. Very much a listening event earlier on. Hopefully there will be no need for me to wear a “sorry is our music interrupting your conversation?” t-shirt.
As we head later into the evening / night we will switch on the amps and there will be an opportunity to shake ones’ tail feathers.
Some fabulous musicians will be preforming. I’m excited to get an opportunity to hear and play with my pals.
My pal Colin MacKay has kindly agreed to MC the night and will help co-ordinate the later jam part of the evening. It isn’t going to be easy for him to get me off the stage though ;-)
Now, I realise it’s traditional on such an occasion to give a birthday gift. The best gift you can give me is your company on Friday 18th October. Plus, if you are able to, I’d love you to make a donation to the wonderful local charity Clan Cancer Support. Xx
Clan Cancer Support is a well-established local charity providing emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer across north-east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland. We offer a relaxed, welcoming and caring environment both at Clan House, our purpose-built support and wellbeing centre in Aberdeen, and at our many bases in the community.

Clan Cancer Support give help to so many people. Ticket price for a show like this would be more than £20 per person.
I really hope you can join me on the 18th of October 2024 & if you are able to, donate to this very worthwhile cause.
Love & hugs
