Low Family's fundraiser for Dylan Rich Legacy Fund

Jessica Low is raising money for Dylan Rich Legacy Fund
In memory of Dylan Rich

21 Hour Spinathon · 2 January 2026

We work with charity partners which improve access to sport for young people in and around Nottingham; and which support nature conservancy and sustainable employment in Kenya. These are both causes that meant a lot to Dylan and this charity was set up after his death aged just 17 in 2021.

Story

Dylan Rich died on 5th September 2021 following a sudden cardiac arrest while playing football. He was 17 years old. You can read more about Dylan here.

To mark what would have been Dylan's 21st birthday year, the Low family will be undertaking a 21 hour spinathon - we will keep the bike going between us from 3am to midnight on 2nd January 2026 and will be raising money for the Dylan Rich Legacy Fund. Please give us your support.

Dylan's family and friends were determined that his death should leave a lasting legacy, one that reflects Dylan’s passions. A legacy fund has been established and this is being used to support causes close to Dylan’s heart. Those who knew and loved him are continuing to explore other ways in which to support those causes. In November 2022 the fund became an official charity.

Since it was established, the legacy fund has worked with five charity partners which have received funding in line with our aims. More information is available on our charity partner page, with photo and videos on our project updates page.
