Story
On 12th July 2026, I’ll be taking on the "Ride for Ryder", a 160km charity cycling challenge around the stunning Cotswolds, in memory of my amazing dad.
We were blessed to receive the most wonderful care at Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger. The kindness, compassion, and dignity they showed my dad, and all of us as a family, will stay with me forever.
My dad was my role model, my inspiration, and the best dad anyone could ask for. He faced everything with strength and bravery right until the very end. He had a real passion for cycling, and after Covid/Lockdown, rides became something he loved and looked forward to.
Taking on this challenge feels like the perfect way to honour him, doing something he loved, while raising money for the hospice that cared for him so beautifully.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to Sue Ryder St John's Hospice, helping them continue to provide expert, compassionate care to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Thank you so much for supporting me and for helping me keep my dad’s memory rolling on.
