📢 Announcement: Spire Healthcare's Annual Charity Focus Week is Back!

We are thrilled to announce that Spire Healthcare's Annual Charity Focus Week is back for another remarkable year! From Saturday 10 to Sunday 18 June, we will come together to raise vital funds and make a positive difference to our many chosen local and national charities.

Our goal for this year's Charity Focus Week is to collectively cover a distance of 40,000 kilometres – that’s the equivalent of circling the globe once! Each hospital and our central functions has been given a target of completing 1,000 kilometres – and we’re encouraging creative approaches to achieve this impressive feat.

Our Central Function colleagues have voted for Macmillan Cancer Support as our designated charity. Macmillan is a leading organisation that provides invaluable support to individuals and families affected by cancer, ensuring that no one faces this challenging journey alone.

Together, we plan to rally behind Macmillan's vital mission and fundraise to help support their exceptional work. By engaging in various fundraising activities, we can make a tangible difference to the lives of those impacted by cancer, offering them hope, assistance, and a much-needed support system.

Reading to London walk – Tuesday 13 & Wednesday 14 June

During the week some colleagues will be taking part in our first organised walk from our Regents Gate office in Reading to our Dorset Rise office in London. Covering 70 miles over the two days, broken into a number of stages, the walk will pass by close to our Dunedin, Thames Valley and St Anthony’s Hospitals.

Cycle challenge – Friday 16 June

As part of the activities taking part across the business, on Friday 16 June, our CEO Justin Ash and CFO Jitesh Sodha, will be joined by colleagues and consultants from across the business for this year's Cycle Challenge. The riders will cover up to 200km over 12 hours, around the Hertfordshire countryside and visiting Spire Harpenden and Bushey Hospitals.

The Cycle Challenge promises to be a day filled with exhilarating cycling and a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Spire Healthcare enthusiasts, meet colleagues and support a very worthy cause in Macmillan.
