We provide intensive physiotherapy to help to disabled children reach their potential

Story

Sven Knowles and James McKenzie are donning fancy dress and driving 1,400 miles in a banger car to raise funds to support the amazing Footsteps Charity. The charities mission is to improve quality of life for children with neurological conditions, (including cerebral palsy), enabling them to receive the intensive physiotherapy they need. Their therapy programme combines traditional mat exercises with the use of a specialist piece of equipment called the ‘Spider’, all to help improve gross motor, fine motor and cognitive development, helping children to reach their full potential.

Sven and James are NOW (Sat21Sep2024) underway on "Split or Bust 2024" where >50 participating teams/cars will be driving more than 1,400miles from the UK to Split in Croatia, on some of Europe's most scenic roads, all the time raising money for their chosen charities.

The car must be a "Banger" (<£1,000 and >20years old) just to keep it fun. We now have that car - a very American looking "Chrysler 300c". What could go wrong with a cheap banger, bought unseen, on an online action, that now has to drive 2,800 miles, if we want to get it back to the UK?

We departed on Saturday 21 September 2024 and are looking for your sponsorship so we can help fund some of the fantastic work Footsteps Charity does for children.

Thank you for supporting our chosen charity, Sven and James.
