Story

Ryan's Run in Memory of Grandad Sid - London 2024!

On the 21st of April, I will be running the London Marathon on behalf of The Richard Whitehead Foundation, in memory of my grandad Sid who was bound to a wheelchair after losing both of his legs. The help and support my family received meant he was still living life to the fullest before he sadly passed when I was just 6 years old. This race is an opportunity for me to remember my Grandad while raising money for a great cause.

But why am I running for The Richard Whitehead Foundation? The mission of ‘Enabling disabled people’s ambitions’ is profoundly significant to me. The Foundation place the individual at the centre of their work, providing access to life-changing support, mentoring, information, advice, equipment and opportunities that will spark a sustained lifetime intervention.

So, please support me as I train throughout the winter months by donating and sharing this page to help me reach my goal of £2,000.

Let the countdown to an inspiring and impactful run begin! 💪🏼🏃🏽‍♂️🥇
