St Barnabas House is a hospice based in Worthing which provides palliative care to adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families, both at the hospice and in the comfort of their own home.

Story

At Spratt & Son, we wanted to give back to the community. Each office within the Blue Bombini Group has chosen a charity close to their hearts to support throughout the year — and for us, that is St Barnabas House.

St Barnabas House is a local charity based in Worthing that provides outstanding palliative and end of life care to adults with life limiting illnesses. We believe that everyone facing such illness deserves dignity, comfort and choice — and St Barnabas helps make that possible.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, the charity provided specialist supportive care to 1,786 local people and their families last year, both at the hospice and in the comfort of their own homes.

As part of our fundraising efforts:

- Mark Deacon, Charles Krost and Zack Bourke are proudly taking part in the Night to Remember Walk in Worthing.

- Our Director, Mark Deacon, has also taken on a Directors' challenge to walk 51 miles during the month of June, matching the effort of other directors across the Blue Bombini Group. Mark has currently completed 26 miles of his challenge with two weeks to go — the equivalent of walking from the PS&B office in Brighton to Worthing, and then from Worthing to the PS&B office in Bognor

Keep an eye out for more fundraising activities we will be doing throughout the year as we continue to support the amazing work of St Barnabas House.

Every step we take is to support the incredible work of this charity. Any donation, big or small, helps make a meaningful difference to local families during some of their most difficult times. Thank you for your support.
