This year I thought I’d take my inclination for silly crochet things and use it for some good, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

As some of you will know (and some won’t, and sorry if this is the first you are hearing of it) last year Matt became suddenly very poorly and was diagnosed with colon cancer. Thankfully, after an emergency operation, 7 months of chemo and the *amazing* NHS, he has now been discharged from oncology and is doing really well.

There’s very little anyone can do to feel useful or constructive in the face of something like cancer, but raising some money to help fund the research and support CRUK provide to so many people feels like a little something.

So if you would like to support a brilliant cause in exchange for a silly little sprout bauble, please follow the link below.

If you have a preference for a particular colour, size etc, let me know and I will kick-start the sprout production line. Equally, if a sprout isn’t your thing, but you would like something else Christmassy to hang on your tree, I can turn my hand to most things, so let me know.

I’m suggesting a donation of £6 per sprout, but please give whatever you are able to for such a good cause.
