Story
As our tenure as Senior Prefects comes to an end, we can’t help but to reflect on the amazing time we’ve had at CLS, and this past year has certainly been a defining chapter in that journey! We are so proud to have served the school community and contributed to an environment which has felt like a second home to us. And so, for our last endeavour, on the 30th of March, we will be running a half-marathon in our school ties, starting at Big Ben and finishing at CLS!
Although we each have varying fitness levels, we will be running to fundraise for two causes which define the ethos of our school. Firstly, for our school charity this year, the Felix Project, whose mission is simple: to stamp out food waste in London. And secondly, for the CLS Charitable Trust, as it goes without saying that our commitment to the Bursary Appeal has been, and continues to be, transformative for many pupils at this school. We want to do our part to ensure that anyone can have the opportunity to receive an exceptional education at CLS.
It is important to note that whilst this JustGiving page only specifies the CLS Charitable Trust, half of the money donated to this page will be sent to the Felix Project.
Whilst we can’t promise any world records, we guarantee that we’ll all get across the line. We’re really looking forward to it and hope to solidify our team spirit as we begin the next stage of our lives as ‘Old Citizens’.
Wish us luck!
