Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) is a community-based organisation that supports women and children in crisis. Every night, they support 200 women and children impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and other disadvantage. 

One woman each week is murdered by her current or former partner in Australia. Domestic and family violence (DFV) is also a leading driver of homelessness among women and children in Australia.

That’s why WAGEC creates safe spaces for women and families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and domestic violence. WAGEC can’t do it alone though, which is why they need our help. By donating to support WAGEC you will be helping to create safe spaces for women and children, supporting women on their journeys toward financial independence, nurturing women in their recovery from trauma and giving kids what they need to thrive.
