🚴‍♂️ Sleaford Rugby Club – Riding for Will ❤️

On Saturday 7th November, Members of Sleaford Rugby Club squad will come together for a very special charity challenge in memory of our much-loved former player and friend, Will Ray

1 Squad | 4 Watt Bikes | 24 Hours | 2,400km

For 24 hours, four Watt Bikes will be running continuously, with members of the 1st XV squad taking turns to keep the bikes moving.

Our target is a huge 2,400km (at least) — an average of 100km every hour, around the clock.

But this challenge is about much more than the distance.

❤️ Riding for Will

Will was a much-loved member of the Sleaford Rugby Club family. Tragically, he lost his life in a motor accident, leaving behind family, friends, teammates and a rugby community who miss him enormously.

Will was a big part of our club, and this challenge gives us an opportunity to come together as a squad and community, remember him, and do something positive in his memory.

🚁 Supporting Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance

We have chosen to raise money for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, an incredible charity that provides a vital lifesaving service across our region.

Their crews are often called to the most serious road traffic collisions and medical emergencies, delivering critical care when every second counts.

It feels particularly fitting that we can support an organisation that works tirelessly to save lives in situations like the one that tragically took Will from us.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
