Wow I can’t believe I’m actually doing this, but Paul told me that in 2024 I had to do it so here I am!!

Losing Paul completely broke me and I lost myself for a long time, even whilst he was still here!

I cared for my beloved husband at home until his final breath and it was an absolute honour to help such an incredible man through one hell of a 5 year battle with the deadliest type of brain cancer there is,GBM! There was tonnes of twists and turns on the rollercoaster journey and many I am still navigating through now! Paul’s final few months were filled with as many memory making plans as possible, this is where The Teeside family foundation stepped in to help, within what only felt like minutes of sharing our devestatingly news of Paul’s 3-4 months left to life prognosis, I was contacted by TTFF and offered a family holiday to primrose valley, although Paul struggled we managed a lovely little get away with memories to treasure forever!

I am fundraising for The Teesside Family Foundation so that I can help them give someone else that opportunity of creating lasting memories with loved ones!!

TTFF are committed to supporting local people and local causes throughout the Teesside area.They aim to improve the quality of life to all of those in need in the community throughout Teesside, whether due to age, disability, ill health or financial hardship.
