“Vet bills”
Springer Rescue for Scotland rescues and rehomes Springer Spaniels across Scotland. All dogs in their care are fostered in family homes, vet-checked, vaccinated and microchipped and any other necessary veterinary treatment. Ongoing veterinary support is often provided for elderly or infirm dogs.

Story

We are raising funds for SRS Gunners specialist vet bills.

8 month old Gunner came into Springer Rescue Scotland with a history of lameness and suspected IOHC which is a congenital problem affecting the elbows. SRS sent Gunner to specialist orthopaedic surgeons in Edinburgh where he had a CT scan to diagnose IOHC and surgery on his right elbow to insert a screw to stop it fracturing. Gunner has IOHC in both elbows so will return in 8 weeks to have his left leg screwed as well. We currently have a vet estimate of £4000-£5000 for the operations but this may increase if he requires additional scans or care.

SRS will pay for all of Gunner's operations and lifetime support in case anything happens to his elbows once he's in his forever home.

We're asking for donations towards the bills so that we can continue to help dogs like Gunner live pain free lives in their forever homes.
