This Christmas, the children and staff of SSAS are raising money in support of Christian Aid's Christmas Appeal - raising money for those fleeing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We are aiming to run a combined 1000 laps of our playground, roughly equivalent to the distance traveled by the Holy Family on the first Christmas. Each class will take it in turns to run, walk, skip or hop around the playground, carrying our Jubilee Baton of Hope, helping us mark the end of this Jubilee Year - Pilgrims of Hope.

The children are also raising money by paying £1 to wear their favourite festive outfits on Christmas Jumper Day (Wednesday 17th December).
