Southern Sheeting is proud to be taking part in the 2023 edition of Crawley Open House's Big Sleep Out.

The Big Sleep Out is an annual event to raise awareness about homelessness and to raise funds to support the charity’s work for those experiencing homelessness locally.

Volunteers from among Southern Sheeting employees will be sleeping out in the yard at the Saint Hill Farm depot on Friday October 27th with nothing more than cardboard for a bed and a sleeping bag.

We appreciate that sleeping out for one night provides only a miniscule glimpse of the discomfort, vulnerability, cold and sleep deprivation affecting those who find themselves in this very precarious situation.

But like Crawley Open House, we believe that any initiative to raise the profile of homelessness, that helps to generate understanding and funds can only be a good thing.
