The School Council at St Cedd's School have chosen three charities to support this year, one local, one national and one international, and are delighted to be raising funds for Essex Search & Rescue.

Essex Search & Rescue is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to search for vulnerable missing people. In 2022, they deployed on 114 occasions, a record in their 20 year history. Whether they search on foot, with dogs, on bikes, in canoes, or with drones, their priority is to find the missing person quickly and return them to their loved ones.

Whilst they are run completely by volunteers, it costs £25,000 a year to run the charity, before any major purchases. Every single penny is raised from donations, so your help is critical to enable their work.
