Story

St David's Management team, are taking part in the City Hospice Cardiff Raft Race race to raise awareness and funds for City Hospice Care.

Our team will be building the raft from scratch and a group of very brave employees will be racing it down the River Taff.

Your support in fundraising is much appreciated.

City Hospice is at the heart of Cardiff, providing end of life care to patients in the local community. With your support, we can continue to provide specialist palliative care to people at home, offer welfare advice to those who need it, and counselling for loved ones.

Hospice care offers reassurance of round-the-clock expert care, in a friendly, welcoming environment for those who are living through a life limiting illness.

From managing someone's pain, to looking after their emotional, spiritual and social needs, hospice care supports the whole person, helping them to live their life to the full.

Did you know City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital? Their services are provided free of charge, meaning the charity needs to raise more than £3 million each year to ensure they can keep sending their nurses out into the local community.
