Story

Georgia from St David's guest services team and her dad Mark the security manager for St David’s will be teaming up to take part in the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 6th to fundraise for City Hospice, as part of the 40 Charity Challenge.

Georgia and Mark both work at St David's and will be representing the shopping centre in aid of the city hospice, the centres local adopted charity partner.

We would appreciate any help in raising these funds towards such a deserving charity and are grateful for any support towards this event.

City Hospice is at the heart of Cardiff, providing end of life care to patients in the local community. The Hospice provide specialist palliative care to people at home, offer welfare advice to those who need it, and counselling for loved ones.

City Hospice is the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital? Their services are provided free of charge, meaning the charity needs to raise more than £1.5 million each year to ensure they can keep sending their nurses out into the local community.
