This year's Ride + Stride is on Saturday 12th September 2026. Thousands of people take part each year to raise funds for their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area we raised over £35,000 in 2025, for individual churches and for our grants programme.

From St Edward's, Peter Dixon will visit 10 churches in a 20-mile walk on Monday 7th September. He walks a few days early because he will be busy with the Music at Stow Festival from Tuesday to Saturday.

You can take part in Ride + Stride yourself, by seeking sponsorship to visit local churches by walking, cycling, on horse back, on public transport or by car. Find out more here.
