This half term as part of our Lenten charity fundraiser for Mary’s Meals, we will be aiming to complete a ‘Virtual Journey’ as a school and parish community. This year we will try to complete the distance from our school to Fatima, Portugal – 1880km.

Instead of running the distance, this year we will be attempting to walk but we will be trying to cover the entire distance in one day – and we need your help!

On 28th March we will leave school at between 9:00am and 9:20am to walk around our local area to ‘collect km’ and are inviting as many parents, friends and family members as possible to help us reach our target.

Our school is proud to support Mary’s Meals, a charity aiming to provide a nutritious meal for children in an educational setting each day. The work of this charity cannot be underestimated. Research has proven that school feeding has a range of positive impacts, since children who are not suffering from hunger are able to make the most of their education.
