The September Walk has become a favourite fixture in the calendar, both as a social event appropriate for all ages and to raise much needed funds for our beautiful church. For 2024, the walk will start at 10-30 a.m. on Saturday 21st September from St. Mary’s in Princes Risborough, and the route will take us along a short section of the Ridgeway and the Icknield Way, before dropping down to St. Dunstan's, and then back to St. Mary's via Wades Park. The overall distance will be approximately four miles. When the walkers return to St. Mary’s, Graham and Jenny King will be waiting for us in the Chapter House with tea, coffee, and cake to restore our energy levels. If you are not taking part in the walk, you will be very welcome to join us in the Chapter House at ~12-15 to meet the returning ramblers, and just chat and socialise with everyone.
