Story
As a school family, we are called to put our faith into action, showing love and support for those who need it most. It is with this spirit of compassion that we will be holding a Super Funky Hair Day in support of The Little Princess Trust. This wonderful charity provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
The support of The Little Princess Trust has been a real comfort and blessing to members of our own community and we are so grateful that they have been there to help our lovely child in Y3. Now, we have an opportunity to show our gratitude and to help other children and families by giving back.
We are inviting all children (and staff and parents!) to come to school on Friday 7th November, with the funkiest hair they can imagine! This could be a wacky style, a splash of temporary colour, crazy plaits, or brilliant bows – the more creative, the better!
To take part, we are asking our school family to make a donation, however big or small, to support the incredible work of the charity. Every single penny helps them to provide hair and hope to a child in need.
We know that our friend in Year 3 is held in your prayers and this is a wonderful, practical way to extend that love and solidarity.
Thank you, as always, for your immense generosity and for helping us to make a real difference.
God bless,
St Joseph's
