Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ST. MARK'S PLAYERS JustGiving pag

Chris Smith Gillard

Our upcoming 2025 Pantomime, Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy was first performed in 2008. It was written by our then Musical Director Chris, who sadly passed away earlier this year (2024) following a long battle with Parkinsons.

We decided to honour Chris by bringing his script to the stage in its full glory once more. St Mark's Players have been supporting charities since the company was founded in 1959. It seemed fitting in Chris's memory that Parkinsons UK became of the charities St Mark's Players chose to support with the performances of Pinocchio & the Blue Fairy. Along with any funds raised here, St Mark's Players also fund raise at each of our 8 performances and make a one of donation from the show's takings

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. St Mark'd Players performance of Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy is a show not to be missed. It's a traditional Pantomime for the whole family to enjoy. Oh Yes It Is!!
