St Mary's Church swimmers challenge

The Big Pea Challenge
Campaign by Christian Aid (RCN 1105851, SC039150)
Welcome to the Big Pea challenge a fun and interactive way for your church and community to come together to raise funds this Christian Aid Week 2023!

Story

This Christian Aid Week (14-20 May) our intrepid swimmers from St Mary's Church are taking on a personal challenge - please sponsor them to raise vital funds for Christian Aid...

Vernonne Allan will swim 1 mile

Sarah-Jane Hingorani will swim 5 miles

Stuart Jenkin will swim 4 kilometres

Jo Fozzard will swim 5 miles during May

Sally Wharfe will swim 1 kilometre

Christie Gilfeather will swim 3 miles

Nita Gowans will do a wild swim (lake or river)

Usha Hull will do a sea swim

The focus of this year's Christian Aid Week is to stand with farmers in Malawi like Esther, determined women who want to make their childrens' dreams come true and who will work to achieve great things.

By donating now, your gift could help people around the world secure a safer, happier future for their children and grandchildren, and send a powerful message that we believe poverty can be beaten.
