St Peter's Rodmarton and St Osmund'sTarlton have been raising funds for Gloucester Historic Churches Trust for many years through the sponsored Ride+Stride. It is a wonderful charity which benefits church buildings in Gloucesteshire through grants for restoration and preservation, including our own here in this parish, and one half of funds raised by us for GHCT will be returned to Rodmarton PCC for our two churches. Richard and Jane, along with others, will be participating in a sponsored tour of churches on 12th September, and we are deeply grateful to our sponsors, thank you.

Thousands of people take part in Ride+Stride every year to raise funds to support their local churches and county historic churches trusts. In our area we raised over £35,000 in 2025, for individual churches and for our grants programme. You can take part in this fun event where participants seek sponsorship to visit our churches by walking, cycling, on horse back, on public transport or by car. Most of our Ride+Stride supporters join in with others from their church but, if you simply would like to help save historic churches and support the Trust, you can sign up on your own!
