We are aiming to twin each of our 14 school toilets. This is a Tearfund initiative which seeks to build toilets in areas (for example, in schools) in countries where toilets and running water are few and far between.

By twinning a toilet, we can help bring safe water and transform the lives of a family or even an entire village. For every toilet we twin, TearFund will work hand in hand with local teams to support sustainable access to decent toilets, safe drinking water and healthy hygiene for people affected by this urgent crisis.

Toilet Twinning funds hygiene education via community-led workshops and sourcing local materials for families and communities to build their own toilets.
