Dear Parents,

As you may already be aware St Vincent’s PTA donates generously towards the cost of Coaches for School trips every year – it is one of our ongoing committed spends which costs us £6,500 with a breakdown of:

£5,000 direct to coach trips

£1,500 top up fund (if any trips need extra funding)

However, this is just over half of what the School requires financially to make these trips happen. Coaches are so very expensive, just a trip down to Hounslow costs close to £1,000 for 60 children!

At St Vincent’s we know that School trips provide a boost to subject understanding and are an excellent way for the children to experience learning in real life. We have worked together with staff to create a wishlist of the trips (see pic 2) they would like to take the children on this academic year with a mind for us to launch a crowd fund to parents to see if you would be able to donate any extra money to this cause.

If every parent donated just £10 to this fund we know that all the children would be able to benefit from a coach for an exciting and needed School trip!

We are very aware in this economic climate that parents may not be able to give more than they already do to the PTA, however, any amount given, small or big will go a long way towards supporting this initiative.
