💙 St Vincent’s Southend – Lift a Life this Christmas

This Christmas, St Vincent’s Southend is asking our community to come together to Lift a Life — helping local people who are struggling to meet the most basic needs of daily living.

Every day, we meet individuals and families facing real hardship — from sleeping rough and going hungry, to living in cold, carpetless homes or choosing between heating and eating. Through your generosity, we can lift those burdens and restore hope where it’s needed most.

✨ Our Focus this Festive Season:

Lift someone off the streets – providing emergency accommodation and pathways into stable housing £60.

Lift the food burden – ensuring no family goes hungry through our food pantry and community meals £30

Lift carpet poverty – helping families create a safe, warm home with carpet underfoot £50

Lift financial pressures – supporting those unable to pay essential bills like electricity, gas, and water £50

‘Lift a Life’ is about giving people the dignity and stability they deserve — not just for Christmas but as they rebuild into the New Year.

Every pound you give helps someone take their first step toward a better tomorrow. Every pound donated will be match funded so your £1 will be £2.
