To those who aren’t familiar with our annual charity event, every year we try to raise money and awareness for our dear friend Harvey Waterfield who lost his battle to cancer. This year marks 10 years since we lost a stellar mate, beloved son, best brother and all round hilarious guy. In his memory we have done many things to raise awareness and funds to help others and keep his memory alive. To commemorate the 10 years, we are stepping out of our comfort zones and joining forces with our friends at #letsrunden_ to run a 5km run, and for those that can, another 5km on top of that. We are asking everyone, young and old, to join us in running, donating via our JustGiving link or even coming down for our celebration at @Batonrouge_hinckley from 1pm. All who run will get a bottle of Stella, and are free to join us for a celebration of life at Baton Rouge where the bar will be open, and some tunes to move to. We appreciate everyone that can spare time, sweat and/or money to help us raise as much as possible! All proceeds go to Anthony Nolan’s Charity in memory of Arv.
