Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page—it truly means more than you know.
At the beginning of March, I found a lump in my breast. Like anyone would, I felt that instant wave of fear. I did what we’re all told to do—I acted quickly, saw my GP, and was placed on an urgent two-week referral pathway.
Thankfully, my diagnosis was a benign cyst. But that experience changed me. Sitting in that waiting room, I couldn’t ignore the reality that for someone else, that same day would bring life-altering news. It opened my eyes to a world so many people are living in—one filled with uncertainty, strength, and courage.
That’s why Loz and I are taking action.
From 29th March, we’ll be walking 100,000 steps every week for 5 weeks. That’s half a million steps each, a million between us. Every single step is for those facing this illness—the fighters, the survivors, and the families standing beside them.
We’re doing this to raise awareness, to show support, and to help make a difference—one step at a time. 🩷
Thank you for being part of this journey.
