Story
Our family had some shocking news recently, my beautiful step sister was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer at the young age of 34. You never think this could happen to yourself or anyone close to you at such a young age so it came as a shock to us all. She’s been so brave and such an inspiration, she has 2 young children one of which was born in April this year and a wonderful husband. We have every hope that she will kick cancers butt and recover from this! You got this Tash 💪🏽
Me and Craig want to show our support, spread awareness and urge people to check their breasts regularly!
We will be doing a 10.1 mile hike in a loop from Leigh woods through Pill to raise money for CoppaFeel! They are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to instil a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
