Hi Guys,

This year has been a difficult one so far. Most will know about the illness I developed in Nepal & the additional one I could have done without on the journey home in April/May this year. I recovered relatively quickly and will be forever thankful to my cardiovascular fitness and both the Nepalese & British medical professionals.

Sadly I learned that the pilot who choppered me down back in April passed away after a tragic helicopter accident a couple of months later 💔.

I return to the Himalayas on Sunday with a view to following the EBC trek & side stepping to summit Lobuche East @ 6,119m. I have steps in place to reduce my chances of developing HAPE again. I am full to the brim with determination and a positive mindset 🙏🏼

Please help me get to £1000 🙏🏼 again, thank you to everyone who has supported me…not just with donations but so much more. I appreciate every single one of you.

Next week I am trekking the Matterhorn trekk and Breithorn in Zermatt which will be a good lead up to Octobers expedition 🙏🏼 🇨🇭 (successful :-))
